Above all—no matter what I’m photographing, whether it’s a wedding, engagement, family, or senior—I want to tell the story of what truly happened and who you are. I want to give you room to be yourself and to stand back and capture your day and time together at this special moment in time for what it is. I want to tell the truth of your day and who YOU are. Whatever that looks like.
I document the good stuff. The stuff that matters.
If you’re looking for someone to just show up and tell you to “say cheese” then I might not be the best fit for you. If you’re looking for someone who is just another vendor, a check off on your planning list, or the cheapest, then again, I might not be the photographer for you—and that’s okay! You deserve to have someone you are absolutely excited about in every way photograph your wedding and my heart is to give you something so much more than “pretty photos” (which trust me, you will get a lot of!!).
I want to be someone who is so much more than a person who just shows up with a camera, photographs your day, and then goes home. I want to know your story, be a source of knowledge and comfort through the planning, a friend, and someone you trust. Trust within you photographer is so, so important. Give me your trust, and I will give you in return, my most creative self & heart and a gallery that reflects that through the most intimate moments with the ones you love most.
I’m going to have you talk to each other, dance, get a little messy, and be silly. I’m gonna have you be a little adventurous and not do your typical cookie cutter prom poses (yuck). Why? Because I want to capture your love for what it truly is. No posing. No stiff “put your hand here” stuff. Just genuine interaction and connection. And all those in-between moments.
I hope behind all of my sessions, weddings, details shots, candids, etc. you’re able to see one huge thing—moments you can re-live over and over again and remember exactly how you felt in that moment.
